The bones of KATIE CRUEL were prematurely formed a few years ago by founding member Wendy Rae Fowler. During their incubation period Wendy played in the EARTHINGS? (Pete Stahl-WOOL, Dave Catching-EAGELS OF DEATH METAL, TEX AND THE HORSEHEADS), MORE (Charlie Wadhams-REX AQUARIUM), LOVE LIES SLEEPING (Chris Watson-HOTEL RIVER), and THE SOUNDS OF DYNAMITE (Brian Waters-THE FLASH EXPRESS, Norm Block-PLEXI). It was also during this time that she had the great pleasure of recording on records such as MARK LANEGAN BAND Field Songs and Bubblegum, QUEENS OF THE STONEAGE Rated R, and EAGLES OF DEATH METAL Death By Sexy.

Jami Beste is a singer/songwriter from Iowa City, IA. Dennis Campbell is a songwriter/producer/multi-instrumentalist musician from Dorset, UK. They met on Halloween. Beste needed a band. Dennis's band, The Nobodies needed a singer. They started collaborating, spending the winter, writing an album, across the ocean, in their home studios. Beste and The Nobodies will be releasing their debut album in June, to be accompanied by a Summer UK Tour
