Have you heard of ‘thexperiment’ design competition? From what I can here you have a pretty good chance of winning, it is public-vote based so you will need to get in early. The competition is open to musician’s designers and film makers.

Musicians have the chance to make the music soundtrack for the experiment party, whether and unsigned band or, producer or DJ, this could be the big break you’ve been waiting for. Your music will be heard by major record label executives and will be recorded at a top recording studio, the track will receive airplay across all the radio stations, plus a double page spread in notions thexperiment issue.

You can then keep track of how you are doing within the competition at http://www.planetnotion.com/thexperiment/music.

Then the top 15 entries in each category will be short listed, and then judged by a panel of industry luminaries.
