Butterfly Toungz Receive 2nd "Best Rap Album" Nomination!!!!

Butterfly Toungz just received a second nomination for “Best Rap/Hip-Hop Album!” for 2007 from Independent Music Awards (IMA). With this recent IMA nomination, Butterfly Toungz are now competing in the same category as such seasoned music vets as Speech (from Arrested Development).

The Butterfly Toungz’ nominated album, “Adversity” received its first “Best Rap Album” nomination earlier this year from Just Plain Folks (A Non-Profit Music Organization) and has really generated quite a buzz within the music industry. Recently, when compared to the Butterfly Toungz’ last album (Wide. Open. Spaces.), Adversity was said to be easily their best work yet.
Independent Music Awards (IMA) is affiliated with the Musician’s Atlas and offers a wide variety of judges for each category such as Afrika Bambaataa, Ozzy Osbourne, Peter Gabriel, Cyndi Lauper, Wynonna, Suzanne Vega, Beenie Man, etc.
IMA boasts that its Award Winners & Finalists are promoted to over 9 million plus music fans & industry people.

While the official judging is now underway, IMA offers an informal chance for fans of the Finalists to cast their votes on their website but in no way will these votes affect any judges decision. By fans casting their votes online, IMA feels they will add more punch to the marketing & promotional efforts of all the Award Finalists & their support teams.

If you copy and paste the link above, scroll down to the "Rap/Hip Hop" section- you will see "Butterfly Toungz" listed as one of the album finalist nominees. Next to it- you will see a "Rate" button.
