Default Bandwagon Soundclash Competition for young bands

This looks good.

Bandwagon is an online music community, edgier and cooler than mySpace, whose Sound Clash Competition in partnership with Sennheiser is a five month long music talent initiative starting 13th November, to encourage school and college students to participate in music and creative arts.

Students will get the chance to enter a battle of the bands competition, which if they win will see them playing at Glastonbury 2007 and getting a record deal with a leading independent label. A whole host of equipment and instruments are also up for grabs to the runner ups and for the best participating schools.
The competition is open to all students, bands and solo artists, across all genres of music aged between 12-18 at secondary school and sixth form/college.
In addition to band entries students can also enter either the review writing or photography element of the competition.

More information on the competition rules, entry processes and tips can be found at www.bandwagon.co.uk/soundclash
