Red Light Camera?

Morning ladies,

Just a general question regarding the red light camera (I think that's what they are?) on the intersection on Murphy Road, Chermside.

Wanted to know how it actually works.. Say you're driving and it turns amber before the first bold line but you can't stop safely so you go through the light while it's amber and it turns red a car length before the last bold line, will this trigger the camera or whatever it is?
