Default Pleeeeeeease help

Hey guys, i know im not giving you a lot to go off but here goes.

Some time around the late 80s/early 90s i heard some music from a band which, as i remember, sounded pretty good. But i have now not got a clue ( old age setting in ) who it was.

The only thing i can remember about this band/album is that it had a story in the CD booklet that went something like this.

A farmer whilst harvesting his corn fields discovered a small blue sphere floating amongst the corn, as he took a closer look he discovered that the blue sphere actually had water and land on it, as he looked even closer the farmer noticed there were fish living in the oceans and animals living on the land of this blue sphere. He told people in the village of his discovery who went to look for themselves, they were amazed at what they saw and crowned it a miracle, word spread fast of this wondrous floating blue sphere and people from all over the world soon came to the field to worship and protect this wonder of nature from coming to any harm.

That’s pretty much all I can remember, you can see the moral behind this story and hopefully someone out there will know what im banging on about and will be able to tell me the name of the band and album. Please someone put me out of my frustrating misery.

Lets throw this in the mix.

The tune out at the moment “Heavy weight champion of the world “
by Reverend and the makers is what kicked all this off, this tune
has sparked some dormant synapse back into life in my head but the
connection will not come full circle, the band and album name im
looking for sound something a kin to this tune.

I mention at the start that I heard this band in the late 80s/early 90s,
This is not to say this is when the album was released it may be
possible that the album is even older than that.

Come guys i have faith in you.
