Default Please help - Group and song

I was recently in Barcelona watching German MTV, and saw a video featuring a boy looking after his mentally ill father. The boy (aged about 10) assumed the role of the dad, paying for food, driving the car, etc because the father was mentally incapable of doing so. The dad kept falling over into the road almost killing himself and seemed to suffer from some sort of paralysis. In the end, the boy had to have him committed. It was a very sad video and it was played a number of times during my stay in Spain but I can't remember the name of the group or the song. The annoying thing is the group is very well known. Even I had heard of them (and that's saying something). I would describe the category of music as Rock/pop. Please help good people!

Default I found my answer

Just in case anyone else is interested - the answer is Placebo and the song is called "Song to say goodbye". Wonderful song and video!
