Early/mid 90s Dance Tune - Please help

I'm sorry but this is a very vague description of a track I used to have on a cassette and I keep hearing it pop up in TV documentaries.

It starts with a piece of haunting piano and then the drums come in - very fast drum roll starting off muffled and distant but becoming clearer and louder (quite a long drum roll) - then the beat starts.

I thought it migh be Fatboy slim or The Chemical Brothers but I've listened to most of the early stuff and it's not there.

This is a challange.

Does it have any vocal line or just a track? Is it chill out or quite fast?

Hi - It starts very chill out (haunting piano) but after the drum roll (that very distinctive muffled drum roll that gets cleare and louder) it has a great beat - but not too fast. I don't remember any vocal (or there may be a very small amount).

Sorry I'm being vague bit that's all I can remember
