    It can't be a minuet because a minuet is a dance in 3/4 time, and that piece is in 4/4.

    I only know that the name of this piece is Minuetto by Paul Mauriat. You can see for yourself on these 2 links:




    However, it wouldn't be the first time that performers of the arranged, commercialised versions of classical music (Rondo Veneziano, Paul Mauriat...) incorrectly name those performed pieces.

    All I can say is that it isn’t a minuet because it’s written in common time (4 beats to a bar) and minuets are in triple time (3 beats to a bar). Also the Paul Mauriat wikipedia article makes no mention of a piece called Minuetto, although it lists dozens of other compositions by (or attributed to) him.
