90s dance tune need help!!!!!

can anybody help me im trying to get the name and artist of a song that used to be played in the clubs in the late 90s early 2000s i think
i have the tune in my head and i can only remember bits of the lyrics i thought it was called the ball and chain? it kindna goes like this i think " the ball and chain i wanna take you higher and higher and higher" it was an awsome dance tune just cant think of the name of it.

only one i can think of that even contains "ball and chain" is J.J Tribute - Asha which samples janis joplins tune ball and chain thing is that j.j tribute was out in early 90s unless there has been (yet another) re-release or cover of it (if this is the correct tune at all)
