Anyone heard any good / bad things about this movie ?

It's basically the story behind facebook.

I haven't watched the movie but I heard good and bad critic from friends. I'm not going to see it though. I think it's amazing how Facebook developed during the last years. I remember that when I signed up it had about 350 million users, now it as more than 500 million. I have friends in other countries, for exampke one of my friends is studying in Iran and the other one is doing an internship in China. In both countries, using Facebook isn't allowed, it's blocked. I think this fact shows how important Facebook is and that it's conidered a threat for countries which permit the freedom of speech.

Facebook and also other services like Twitter have so much power! Governments are afraid of those, so I think it's amazing what Mark Zuckerberg and his friends created!

I agree with razet93, i thought it would be pretty dull, but I was pleasantly surprised.
And it blew my mind when I found out that the twins were played by the same person

The social network is one of the best movie i have ever watched. It was also nominated for the oscars this proves it must have something in it.

The movie definitely deserves an Academy award for Best Picture. It is extremely revalent for our times and many years to come. I consider this movie is a fine piece of modern filmmaking and probably will be considered as a classic in the future.
