Once upon a time there was a young boy from a small country named Bulgaria. Fate pushed him into the abyss of musical creativity. Without any idea of the musical norms and rules, he discovered one of the most important things - the language of his soul. By this language he expressed his emotions and accumulated energy derived from the universal force. Influenced by the melodic trance vibrations from the 90s, the boy started slowly and gradually to delve into this movement, to examine the rules of life and creativity and to improve his knowledge and skills. But the more he understood the rules of electronic music and sound, the more confused he was becoming, which led to him to a crossroad. He had to make a choice - either follow his own language or dive into a world of rules and requirements.

He saw how music has changed over the years - the positive and melodic vibrations transformed into powerful, gray and busy rhythms. The music evolved along with people and their lifestyle. After years of research and experimenting, the boy found peace within himself. Knowledge helped him expand his ways of expression and to recreate the voice of his soul in various ways. This sparked a desire to share what he does. Creativity is from all and for all. Strongly influenced by the vibrations of a bygone era, listening to his inner voice, he continues to create and seek to deliver energy, experience and a little magic to every seeker... His name is Psystein!

Music Career:

Velimir Andreev aka Psystein (Gripe Grigs) is a music producer and organizer of music events from Bulgaria - Sofia. Already 10 years he is composing and producing his own music utilizing ‘state of the art’ sound equipment and software. He becomes into electronic music in the late of 90s, strongly influenced by the magic of melodic psytrance (Goa) from artist like Astral Projection, MFG, Electric Universe... In that time he started to make own music and to follow his dream to travel around the world and play…

Education:

In 2011 he is graduated as a Sound Engineer and Music Producer from New Bulgarian University – Sofia. Title of qualification awarded - Bachelor of Computer and Media Technologies. Have the knowledge and skills in design, installation, setup and operation of computer systems and equipment. Can organize and implement multimedia projects and using realistic graphics and animation in science, art, education and others. Theoretical and practical presents the structure and modeling of musical composition. Composition and programming using computer music programs. Organization and implementation of multimedia projects. Sound Engineering.

Participation at Projects:

-Project Psystein (own project) - is a musical night psychedelic and experimental project with powerful basslines and organic sounds, with deep atmospheres and shamanic rhythms - combining different synthesis techniques for creation of unique sounds and programing with many audio effects for the creation of magical vibrations and journeys into different perspectives and emotions.

-Project Asoma - is a musical project by Borislav Lazarov (Maharishi), Velimir Andreev and Alexander Dragomirov (Metaphisical) from Sofia, Bulgaria. Fascinated from the beauty of psychedelic music, they decided to contribute with something from themselves and to express their visions, emotions and ideas through sound. In 2001 "Asoma" project was established. After lots of experiments with sound manipulation, Asoma found their style and went deeper into it.
