Default Please help me choose

Hi,

I really need some help with choosing which songwriter demos to put forward (mainly dance and pop). I’ve been working hard on them over the last few years, writing and re-writing, producing and re-mixing, never able to give up, and I’m now adding the finishing touches to my demonstrations before trying to sell the songs to other artists.

However, having been so involved with the songs, it’s hard for me to be objective about how they sound, so I’ve added anonymous voting to each one on my website, and if you are able to spare a few minutes to rate each track it would be extremely helpful to me. They might not be your kind of music, but I need help in rating them in terms of commercial potential as pop songs.

Please bear in mind that they are not intended as final products, although I have tried to get them as close to that as I can on a very small budget, producing them at home on headphones, and singing quietly so as to not disturb the neighbours. I am not a great singer (which is quite clear, apologies for that), but it is easier to demonstrate the songs myself at this stage. I hope that if the songs are strong enough, other artists might take them up. At this stage they are best listened to with headphones, they will be mastered for speakers soon.

I need to reduce the list to four songs, and although nothing might come from my efforts, there’s nothing to lose and I’ve had great fun trying, so I won’t be disappointed. But with your help, and maybe anyone else you think of who might like to vote, I will be able to make the very best first impression possible.

Many thanks in advance,

Nick
