I'm an independent producer with long track record in music since I run pirate radiostation early 80'ties.
In 2002 I wanted to get back to producing music but then we didn't find anymore ways to get the investments to the production back as MP3 was free to download.
Currently emerging mobile technology is allowing us to setup new distribution channels with billing so I'm trying to utilise those.
I have setup
Top Indie Music and Media website for video and MP3 hosting and promotion, where I have plans to include mobile billing and distribution for US market (I was in New York until Sept, 11th) so looking for interesting material from independent artists.
The site integrates with Yahoo media search, so your work should be promoted thru Yahoo, several threads and groups and I quarantee better quality than Youtube.
The site payout rates to artists depends how much material I could get as there is VAT, mobile operators fee and mobile billing integration fee to be considered, but it won't be below 50%. Other mobile media sites are currently offering only 30%.
So, if you have music video or MP3 file, please join and share those there. I'm promoting this site hard.
