Hi all!
Brilliant to have this opportunity to say 'hello'. I am a singer-songwriter of a more mature age but I am really only 25! (Good rock and blues does not only belong to the young!)
I have returned to performing after a long break and have started songwriting. I have recorded my first demo CD 'Into The Light', 2 covers and 4 originals and have started on my first album 'Sackcloth and Ashes' with 2 recordings. I have 35+ other songs waiting for melodies and recording.
Music covered includes ballads, R&B, rock and traditional blues and like to think that if a particular piece of music stirs me then I want to sing it.
Major early influences: Paul Rodgers (the man!!!), John Lennon, Eagles, Beatles, Paul Weller. Currently very impressed by a range of modern performers irrespective of age, but especially Take That.
I can't play a note but trying to learn acoustic guitar. I am desperately looking for like minded individuals to work with, as I am desperate to share writing and recording and want to get back into live performing asap. Looking forward to doing a live gig for charity after Christmas and would want to make people go away wanting more! Anybody interested? Age etc does not matter just need to be somewhere within travelling distance from Kent.

Anyway, nice to say hello and I would love to get some feedback. Is there anybody out there want to join me or help me? Is there anybody out there I can help?
