sun Hey Everyone

I just joined this site. I am an American, but I would like to stay global and what is going on in the world. The UK music scene is so different from America. I see that this week Madonna is number 1 there, but none of her songs have cracked the top ten in America. "Hung Up" was not considered a hot song here in the States. I like most young Americans love Hip Hop. It's our dominant form of music. I also see that Chris Brown is on the charts for "Run It". Have fun with that song, they killed it here in America. It was #1 for like 10 weeks or something, but now "Yo" is popular here now. I have only heard 3 of the songs on the UK top 10 charts. I would like to hear more and learn about UK music. I would like to know what is grime and house music. In return, I'll tell you what "hyphy" is. Well if anyone wants to chat, I'm here.

Welcome to the site, the UK has had years of American records in the top 20, it's great to see this week a UK record in the top 10 of the American charts, hopefully we can start exporting more UK artists in your direction.

In my opinon grime is the most exciting sounds to come out of the UK in recent years. It is innovative and creatively cutting-edge, an amalgamation of UK Garage, drum’n’bass and hip-hop. As a sound it remains utterly and distinctly unique.

Listen to artists like Dizzee Rascal, Wiley and Roll Deep to hear the sound.

And welcome to the site
