Gustav Holst - the Planets - was an inspiration in 1963. I am a die-hard listener of keyboards, started with Booker T in the late 60s, then on to James Gang, Deep Purple, Kraftwerk, ELP, Genesis, Tangerine Dream. Gone full circle with Black Sabbath, Frank Zappa, Soundgarden, Primus, numerous 90s metal.
More recently I have been immersed in ambient, tribal space music, Kit Watkins, Steve Roach, Robert Rich, A Produce, Michael Stearns ... so many others.
Glad to be on board! I have music samples I am trying to find the composer (recorded on my portable Panasonic in 1969 & 70). Let me know if I can post them (and where)
