Are you in a band looking to make it big in 2012? Would you like the chance to support the Kaiser Chiefs in front of over 10,000 people? Are you looking to your big break? Look no further - Band Battle is open for entries. But you need to act fast, as the closing date is Thursday 31 May!

Triumph Motorcycles has launched Band Battle 2012 - its search to find a new act to support the Kaiser Chiefs, who are topping the bill at this year’s Triumph Live, the world’s biggest motorcycle festival devoted to Britain’s best-selling, most iconic motorbike manufacturer.

Triumph Live is taking place at Mallory Park, Leicestershire during August 31st – September 2nd 2012 and the event will host celebration of motorbikes and music.

Entering the competition could not be easier; simply fill in your band’s details on the Triumph website – triumph-bandbattle.com – and get your fans to vote online from now until the end of June. Adding a few pictures of the band in action, some sound files or even live footage from Youtube will provide the judges and voters with a valuable opportunity to see your band in action.

Once the votes are counted, the top twenty acts are selected to go forward to the ‘vote off’, where the five finalists (plus one wildcard band) are chosen. These five finalists will be invited to play at the final, which takes place at Triumph’s factory in Hinckley on July 13. From these five bands, three winners will be picked to play at Triumph Live (August 31 – September 2, 2012).

The deadline for band registration is May 31, so don’t miss out on this once in a lifetime opportunity.
