After the wall cracking madness with T$$$$z's SLG that was made ever so memorable thanks to the happy faces, great vibe and the dance-or-die attitude (thanks to all), we've decided to bring on another instalment of our shoe-sole burning boogie without compromise back to the Gramaphone. In this special selection of mind-boggling sonic cowboys we deliver the bid to present up and coming cutting edge acts

As a tantalizing starter we have the indispensable PTD resident SSSIXA to warm up your frozen toes. Deeper into the night DECKARD (Site Records) will serve a fresh blend of funk driven dance. Our unpredictable unsigned talent - PIOTR BEJNAR - will a fully pumped-up live act from within the crowd with a bone crunchin' twist. Last but not least you'll get the full force of the minimal exorcist PTD resident GIGI.
The upstairs floor will be hosted by FAT! BEACHES dj's, special guest CJ and PTD resident MP.
PIOTR BEJNAR
Producer, DJ and live performer. Since he was a 16 yr old youngster his interests crossed the not so usal field of the mathematical arrangement of phrases and bars in musical compositions. As a live performer he experiments with various novice live performance techniques, presenting a generous spectrum of sounds. Piotr doesn't allow the current trends, likes and dislikes to influence him, but is rather drawn to specific 'sonic gems' from various styles of electronic music. His varied musical taste has led him to take part in many cultural events, not necessarily dance related. He is also the co-organiser of a series of events called "Black Roses". There were 10 editions so far and the following artist have played: SLG (T$$$$z/PL), Mark Hawkins (Mosquito/UK), The Activator (Gigolo Rec./USA), Michael Forshaw (Chan'n'Mikes/UK), Bleep (Toronto), Fumix (FSOC/Samurai.fm/Japan), Vortek (FSOC/Italy), Deckard (Site Rec./PL) ….
Piotr Bejnar's performances are unlike the live acts associated with performing from a laptop… in fact they're very different. It is a live improvisation to which Bejnar invites the audience, which quite literally generates the sounds together with him.
The story goes back to a gig where Bejnar had no space to place his MIDI controller and had to play with it in his hands. Since that night his friends and fans bestowed him with the title of the "Modern Talking" DJ and the "Unstoppable Korg Rider". The idea has evolved, Piotr has minimised his setup and begun to perform live holding his sampler while dancing with the crowds on the dance floor.
DECKARD (Site Records)
Born in Warsaw, lives in Gdynia. He started producing music with Atari and Amiga modules in 1993. His first public performance was in 1996 in the Central Institute of Technical Culture (CUKT). In the late 90-ties he was the co-founder of Au-Gen (with Qads). Growing up with Berlin's electronic music of the time (Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schulze, Ashra), he was gradually turning towards modern sounds, finding his ground in the dub-minimal and tech-house genres. He also organizes "Electronica Intelligente" and "S!te Records Nights" in Sopot's legendary Sfinks. He takes part in the Neotronika collective and his own net label S!te Records ( www.site-rec.com). Moreover he takes care of the sound design in various exhibitions and performances (galeria 78, City Theatre of Gdynia, Kolonia Artystów). In December 2003 he's made with Qads a CD - "Delight Chill Session" - published by Aktivist .
Currently his one of the leading electronic music producers in Poland.
CJ
DJ and Promoter in London working for one of the best clubs in London. Kris (CJ) loves minimal, tech-house and everything electronic. He's one of those people up for a 24/7 party.
MP aka BIO- LOGICAL
MPcontert (Michal Pacala) was born in Torun (Poland) and is currently based in London. He began his adventures in electronic music about 13 years ago, with the album "Experience" by Prodigy. Since that time this specific style of music became a crusial part of his life. He's been DJ'ing and organizing events for about 10 years now. The beginning was marked by the collaboration with SONIC TRIP (ex wookie, infinity, nobis) from Lodz as well as events in the Torun's castle ruins and ART CAFÉ. After 3 years of working solo he teemed up with LD.JAY (ERASE) forming the crew "G-TRAXX", which resulted in various events in clubs such as "01", "Los Desperados", "Art Café", "Bunkier". The next stage was the collaboration in a multimedia project called "DRUMTOWN" (MC QUBIK, LD.JAY, ZALK). Numerous gigs in Torun, Bydgoszcz, Lodz and Gdansk were backed up by the web portal www.drumtown.pl, which dealt with electronic music and clubbing in Poland.
Since 4 years he's been living in London and has worked with DJ's and producers SYNTHASY and SSSIXA, as well as many talented DJ's from Poland and not only. These collaborations resulted in the projects "OLD STREET CREW", "DISCORE" and "POLISH THE DANCEFLOOR" and events in clubs such as "DOG STAR" (BRIXTON), "MEDUSA" (BRIXTON), "BED BAR", "FLUID", "EXIT" as well as "POLOCOcTA SOUND SYSTEM" (warehouse partys). Constantly expanding his musical interests he aims towards producing his own music. His other notable appearances include the Lodz Love Parade and the Torun Rejs (an event on a boat cruise on the Vistula river). He had the pleasure to play alongside Aquasky (Passenger Rec.), MC Magic and MC Beege (Urban Takeover), DLX (Germany), Sonic Trip, Weekenders, Burning Lions crew, Triada crew, Ros, Screwball, DeePack and many more.
