PRODUCTION LONDON PRESENTS A FEAST OF MUSIC. FILM AND FUN AT SCALA ON FRIDAY MAY 30 - WITH LEGENDARY LIVE BAND THE BAYS, MUSIC COLLECTIVE SUNHARBOUR AND A HOST OF DJS
Production London Presents another eclectic spread of music, film and pure unadulterated fun at their second excursion to the Scala in Kings Cross, London on May 30. This time they bring for your delectation the phenomenal improvisational talents of The Bays – the fantastic band who only ever play live; Sunharbour, the 16 piece collective whose musicians have played with the likes of Jamiroquai and Gnarls Barkley; Moe Foe as heard on Radio 1; all the way from San Francisco and Down Under, the funky Tal M Klein and Goodgrove Tour; singer songwriter Cat Nickless and DJs including Novice of Genius, Barney Logic and Lee Wads. There will also be visuals provided by a short film showcase from Bang! Films and from Bang! Visualmongers.
Tickets are a snip at just £10 in advance via ticketweb.co.uk or £12 on the door for seven hours of pure entertainment from 10pm through to the 5am.
The Bays are unique amongst bands – they only perform live, they don’t have a set list and they never do the same performance twice. A modern day phenomena, they rip up the rule book of the music industry. Don’t miss them live for a gig of a lifetime!
Sunharbour are an outrageously talented 16 piece musical collective that includes musicians that have played with The Good, The Bad and the Queen. They consist of 14 musicians, 2 vocalists and a host of instruments including acoustic and electric guitar, keyboards, decks, a string quartet (!), trumpet, trombone and a big ol’ double bass.
Moe Foe’s four piece musical family take you on a whirl of aural pleasure through dark dynamic landscapes and a dusting of acoustic wizardy. Their blissful sound mixes musical styles with technical know how to wrap you in a cosy blanket of acoustic bliss.
Production London are delighted to present Tal M Klein and Goodgrove Tour all the way from San Francisco and Australia – these funksters are over in the UK especially for this Scala gig and we can’t wait to get them shaking your ass!
And finally, there’s Cat Nickless, a fantastic singer and songwriter with a heady mix of coastal and urban influences and sounds.
DJ sets will include Papa la Bass, Novice of Genius, Spinner Shindigs, Jazz Wax, Mr Doris, Barney Logic and Lee Wads.

Production London Presents another eclectic feast of music, film and pure fun at their second excursion to SCALA in Kings Cross London. This time they bring -
THE BAYS - The Bays are Andy Gangadeen, Chris Taylor, Jamie Odell and Simon Richmond. Their manifesto of pure improvisation and raw creative synergy is causing major tremors at all levels of the music industry, challenging many of its most entrenched attitudes about bands and live performance. Through their relentless gig schedule and tireless devotion to their radical musical ethic, The Bays have ripped up the rulebook and debunk musical convention wherever they play.
What drives this band is their need to communicate with the audience in a way not possible with most live bands. There are no songs to perform, theres no album to promote and there is no hidden commercial agenda. The Bays only perform live, they never rehearse, they dont have a set-list, they dont use sequencers and they couldnt ever do the same performance twice. Its all about the moment an experience that exists between the band and the audience for only one moment in time.
SUNHARBOUR - the outrageously talented 16 piece musical collective Sunharbour including musicians that have played with artists such as The Good, The Bad and the Queen, Jamiroquoi and Gnarles Barkley. Their live performance, that has been likened to Zero 7, Air, Aim, Quanitc Soul Orchestra and Groove Armada, consists of 14 musicians, and 2 vocalists, including acoustic and electric guitar, keyboards, samplers, decks, drums, bass guitar, string quartet - cello, 2 violins, 1 viola, brass trio - sax, trumpet, trombone, percussion featuring a gong & the big bad double bass. Simply not to be missed.
MOEFOE- People are always asking what is the style of Moe Foes music, They say Live Electronic Dance for the 21st century. Taking you through different audio pleasures, like dark dynamic landscapes, heavy basslines, whilst being wrapped in a cosy blanket of acoustic bliss. Through sonic exploration they blur the boundaries breaks, d`n`b, dub, and much more. Demonstrating their independence the four piece musical family bring together a wide knowledge of musical styles mixed with advanced technical know how, both on stage or in their studio, self produced, free to experiment.
TAL M. KLEIN & GOODGROOVE TOUR - "I'm all about drunk funk, that's music which inspires one to both chill and shake their ass at the same time. Finding that perfect funky record, to me, is like winning the chocolate, money, and sex lottery." The Funksters from San Francisco and Austrialia are over in the UK specially for Production London's party at Scala and they are looking foreward to it.
CAT NICKLESS - Singer/songwritter with a mix of coastal/city influences and sounds.
