FIXED vs DUBSTEP WARRIORS – MYBASS vs ROCKFALL
The Custard Factory
MARQUEE EVENT
A massive night in the calendar for all those who are into Drum’n’bass, Dubstep & Breakbeat. Four of the biggest brands in Birmingham collide at The Custard Factory, taking over the Marquee and the Factory Club.
2 arenas of music, high spec sound and lighting production and 1500 party people. Mix it up with FIXED, DUBSTEP WARRIORS, MYBASS and ROCKFALL and you’ve got a recipe for some heavy beats, bass & breaks, and a party that’ll threaten to shake the Marquee down to the ground.
THE MARQUEE:
Two of the biggest players in Birmingham when it comes to Drum & Bass and Dubstep. Fixed & Dubstep Warriors come head to head under the marquee. And they’ve brought some big-hitters with them too.
Hazard
This incredibly talented producer has knocked out enough dancefloor bombs to be considered a serious sonic terrorist, adding to the noise pollution problems of neighbourhoods around the world with his uncompromisingly tight beats and earth-quaking basslines.
Brookes Brothers
2008 saw them assault the market with a host of big tunes such as F-Zero, Gold Rush, Dawn Treader and Crackdown. They now hold residencies in both Fabric and Herbal nightclubs, playing regular national and international DJ sets. Their debut album is scheduled for release on Breakbeat Kaos in early 2009, so watch this space!!
Mala ( Digital Mystikz )
A-List Dubstep producer and artist
Check out this amazing video footage of Mala live at Sonar festival 2008!

Youngsta (Rinse Fm/Tempa)
Without doubt one of the finest DJs in dubstep, Youngsta’s flawless mixing and deadly accurate selection place him at the forefront of this evolving scene. Representing flagship label Tempa with an exclusive array of dubplates, his sets continue to raise the bar for quality and innovation.
THE FACTORY CLUB:
Complimenting the marquee lineup perfectly, The Factory Club has got its own battle going on between Mybass and Rockfall. Once again, these are two of the biggest brands pushing Breakbeat, Drum’n’bass & Dubstep in Birmingham.
Qemists Live
The Qemists first started working together as the drummer, bassist and guitarist in a rock band. For years the three were playing in a rock band by day and producing and djing dnb by night, which lead to an inevitable conclusion; why not do both at the same time!
ID
One half of production duo, Baobinga & ID. The unlikeliest of breaks heroes, ID is a former drummer and ex-indie fan, now producing Techno-Breaks, preferring to look outside the genre for inspiration.
