We all know the stellar cast that inhabits Parisian based label Ed Banger records, that includes Busy P, DJ Mehdi, Sebastian, and of course the almighty Justice. However Miami born Uffie is possibly the most notorious of all Ed Bangers acts since her emergence onto the scene with her electro hip hop style, ( Wikipedia rather cleverly describes it as “a deliberately staid anti-flow delivery that walks a fine line between electro and nu-skool rap"), combined with wild stage antics and overtly sexual lyrics. Now living in Paris with her boyfriend / producer DJ Feadz (who is an incredible talent in his own right and will be on hand providing a DJ set on the night - check out his new Ed Banger release ‘Happy Meal‘) tracks like ‘Pop The Glock’, ‘Ready To Uff‘, ‘Hot Chick’, ‘In Charge’, ‘Dismissed’, and ‘Brand New Car’ have become the stuff of legend. Add to that Mr Oizo produced ‘First Love‘ and a guest vocal on Justice’s † Album on the dance floor destroying track ‘Tthhee Ppaarrttyy’ and you’re dealing with one the most influential acts in not only Ed Banger’s cannon but in that of worldwide nightclubs, festivals and indeed dance music fashion as a whole.
