HEATWAVE BIOG

Holding it down for over three years with their crunked-up dancefloor blend of dancehall/bashment, R'n'B, reggae, soca and reggaeton which has earned them numerous guest slots alongside the likes of Buju Banton, Suncycle, Robbo Ranx, Tubby T, DJ Vadim, The Bug, Yungun, Warrior Queen and Coldcut.

Heatwave's residencies at 333, Gramaphone and Herbal plus recent appearances at big nights including Destination Out (Cargo), Fidgit (Plan B), Bristol Carnival and Wwwhut!? (93 Feet East) have earned them praise from the likes of Time Out, who called them "the most exciting new luminaries of London's dancehall scene".

Heatwave are also responsible for a glut of remixes on the bootleg 7" imprint Punchline, notably a chart-topping refix of Trick Me by Kelis featuring Beenie Man & T.O.K. These have been rinsed on radio and in dances alike by Gilles Peterson, David Rodigan, Daddy G (Massive Attack)... Heatwave's own label Scandal Bag has just released the single Let It Billie by DJ C & Quality Diamond which is currently enjoying multiple plays on Radio 1 and Kiss FM and heavy club support from the likes of 100% Dynamite, DJ Yoda and Ross Allen.
