This Saturday Discotheque is very proud to invite Pete Tong into our fold for what promises to be one of the highlights of our year so far.

Kent’s most famous son has been spearheading new dance music and has been at the forefront of the house music scene for many years now. To say that he has an ear for great new music would be a massive understatement! To have The “Tong” stamp of approval is a huge thing for any record, DJ or producer.

No one can argue that the voice of the dance nation is Radio One’s Pete Tong. His Friday night show which has sound tracked the start of many a weekend is also a mega barometer for what is going to be hot in the coming months.

Through his other hugely popular show In New Music We trust Pete gets to introduce into our psyche new tunes, bands, acts and sounds.

Hot property this man certainly is as he tours the world road testing the latest juicy tunes that regularly pop into his mailbox. So influential is he that most of the worlds biggest DJs and producers will offer the first or test pressings to Pete!

And lets not forget his excellent Ibiza super night Pure Pacha…now a Friday night White Isle institution in its own right. Running for a full 17 weeks during the 2006 summer season it was one of the best most talked about nights last year. This year things look no different and we are pretty sure that Pete will be calling in favours upon his mates…the great and the good of the house music scene! The success of this night has ensured the popularity of his own monthly residency at Ministry of Sound arguably the most influential club in the world.

This Saturday will surely be a test bed for what music will be featuring in his sets this summer and beyond. If you are a fan of dance music this is one night you simply cannot afford to miss.

Bookending the night will be our resident hero, DJ and sometime monkey-phile DJ Corey. The man has got props from everyone from Kenny Dope to DJ Sneak and of course Pete Tong.

Trademark Gatecrasher sound system and production completes the bill for this already fully loaded night!

DJ, producer, presenter, pioneer, all round hero and sometime $$$$ney rhyming slang….join us for one of the nights of the year! This Saturday at Discotheque by Gatecrasher.
