New Indie/Alt Night in Sutton, Surrey/South London

Hello there!

The Weather Forecast is a new indie/alt club night that is gonna be at Liquid in Sutton, Surrey. It's gonna be starting on September 8th, and will run fortnightly on Saturdays.

Basically the area in and around Sutton doesn't really have much for people in to indie and alternative music so we hope to change this! It's gonna be fun, cheap and is in a big well facilitated venue which will have a friendly atmosphere.

Hopefully this night will appeal to people in the Sutton, Epsom, Croydon, Cheam areaand around South London. Sutton has really good transport links both by us and train. And there is a night bus back to Central London.

The kinda stuff we are looking to play is...Arctic Monkeys, Killers, Good Shoes, Maccabees, Jamie T, Kate Nash, Maximo Park, Jack Penate, The Rakes, CSS, The Smiths, The Cure, White Stripes, Justice, Futureheads, Klaxons, Pigeon Detectives, etc...and we are always open to suggestions as we wanna play whatever YOU wanna hear on a Saturday night. We are thinking maybe early on in the night we could play more punk/emo stuff if people are interested so let us know!

The night is being put on by Banquet Records in Kingston who also put on the New Slang club night in Kingston which has been a massive success, so we're hoping this can go the same way!
