NAPTON MUSIC FESTIVAL -SEPTEMBER 16th 2006

Music Festival? Yes if you haven’t heard, Napton is going to be host to an
outdoor festival and it’s going to be a day of music not to be missed.

In March of this year a group of local residents formed a committee with
the sole purpose of organising a local one day Music Festival - the likes of
which we haven’t seen before in this area.

The idea was to organise a day that presented at least 10 live bands plus
other supporting acts, to give the audience 12 hours of virtual non- stop
Music and entertainment.

So with great pleasure I can now confirm that all is in place to go ahead,
and on Saturday 16th September starting at mid-day at Holt Farm Napton
the Napton Festival will take place, and what a day it is going to be.

We will have a ’huge’ professionally run stage/sound and light system.
We will have full bar plus catering services and there will be a number of
on site toilet facilities.

There will be on-site parking and on-site camping so don’t worry about
getting home - book your camping pitch and stay to enjoy the atmosphere
of an outdoor live music event!

Sounds a bit good too be true doesn’t it? But yes this is going to happen
and it’s set in a wonderful rural location which means you can really get
the feel of the great outdoors along with some great music.

and you will see for yourself that this is a ’serious’ event, packed full of bands
that are both local to Napton and from other Warwickshire areas.

Look at our top act GIRLSCHOOL. This band has for some years been making
albums and singles, and is one of the countries top heavy rock bands, click
on their website and read about them.
GIRLSCHOOL thought it was a great idea and offered to come along to
support the festival.

We are expecting to sell the 2000 tickets which can only be pre booked
using the website www.naptonfestival.co.uk so log on and get some
further details.

Price as you will see is only £10 adult ticket, £7.50 for under 18’s and £30 for a
family ticket which includes 2 adults and 3 children under 16 years of age.
Yes of course you can bring the kids, and to make you feel comfortable we
will be having professional security personnel along with a police presence.
St Johns ambulance will also be at the festival to deal with any mishaps.
Camping should also be pre-booked via the website.

One last thing - why are we doing it?

The Napton Festival has been organised to support local amenities in the
village, plus the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance whose
service is invaluable to people living in rural areas.
