From one of the biggest names in the US Jackin scene, to rising stars of the UK Jackin scene, Moochin picks nothing but quality underground house for you every month, and serves it up with a whole heap of fun… so if you’re wondering what all the fuss is about, come check it out…

This month we are also helping to raise money for RAISA, a registered AIDS charity that our good friends Tara Fletcher and Kirsten Doherty are supporting by climbing Mount Kilimanjaro. They are paying all their costs for the trip so to do our bit we are asking everybody to contribute 1GBP at the door, and that money will go directly to the charity. Good times, and a worthy cause.

In April we present t o you, The Quirk Burglars. After bringing the sound of "proper" underground house music to the darkest depths of East Kent through their ever growing DROP night, the next step towards world domination was always going to be in developing their own production skills. Matt and Andy have taken this next step through their Quirk Burglars alter ego and to date they have been very well received by the dancefloor. The Quirk Burglars sound has been influenced and inspired by their love of Chicago boompty boomp and the London tech-house scene, and their sound is unique, fusing smutty funk b lines, quirked up, twisted samples with layered percussion and cheeky stabs, all underpinned by made for the floor tight ass beats! It's house music, it's dirty, it's quirky, but it's very nice!

Launched early this year, Trendy Mullet Recordings showcases the best up and coming producers from across the UK and beyond as well as being an avenue for the latest of The Quirk Burglars own productions. The first release is a wicked sampler with tracks from the other UK Jackin pushers, Souljay and Sample Savvy Music, alongside some fresh Quirk cuts. Find it at the usual places like stompy.com

In Room 2 we have “Information” hosting a party of all things electronic. With Live shows from much loved John Hopkins and Echaskech and DJ sets from their talented residents and guests, expect some hard hitting house, breaks and techno!
