Maximal @ The Key
Saturday May 12th
11PM till 6AM
Goods Yard, Off York Way, London N1

Presenting…
RENE AMESZ, PETER GELDERBLOM AND JAIMIE FANATIC ALL UK EXCLUSIVE!

We welcome you our friends to the world of MAXIMAL!

It’s been 8 months since we launched our brand new concept at the world famous Key club in September 2006. Our goal was to create the most exciting and most talked about party in London! No easy task when there are hundreds of clubs nights launching every weekend claiming to be portals of pleasure beyond measure! But like Mars Bar’s tag line, they offer a lot of promise but little substance. Forget the shiny marketing or glitzy PR, the most important ingredients of any party are three things The Music, The People and The Venue.

We were baptised in the underground of this industry. From the beginning we have built the night strictly through word of mouth, friends of friends and mates of mates, we wanted a crowd of like minded people all under one roof dancing dusk till dawn to the best music by the best DJs from across the globe. Call us keeping it real, or by the clubbers for the clubbers, call it whatever you like, the fact of the matter is the atmosphere of any club is down to you.

We pride ourselves on the fact that until now we have never printed a single flyer or splattered your favourite websites with banner adverts, yet we are one of the most in demand events on the calendar, not that we want to shout about it or anything, we just thought you’d like to know.

Since 2006 we’ve watched with mighty grins on our faces as over 6,000 party pilgrims rush through the doors to help us smash the Key, tear The Cross to pieces, blow the roof off of The Whitehouse and shake the foundations of Thirst and the Medicine bar.

We are not here to pimp your club night, or make you a thousand clichéd promises, we are hear to deliver top DJs, better clubbers and awesome venues.

The age of minimal is over… this summer is Maximal and we know you’re with us!

Anyway, enough blurb – back to the music! Maximal is proud to bring you a UK exclusive in the form of the Dutch production powerhouse of Rene Amesz & Peter Gelderblom together on the same line-up in this country for the very first time! Their phat, inimitable, electro-laced tribal sound has seen them remix and produce tracks for the likes of Cr2, Toolroom and Little Mountain Recordings, with their filthy remixes of Faithless’ ‘Insomnia’ and Red Hot Chili Peppers’ ‘By The Way’ redefining the term “big room sound”. Chunky beats, euphoric riffs and huge build-ups – a sound that is guaranteed to rip any dancefloor apart. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.
