It's that time of year again when we are instructed to close ranks, wear victim badges on our sleeves, abandon the Village ghetto wearing bad make up & march through the centre of the known straight world (Deansgate) behind trucks with inflatable $$$$s on top, all in the name of Gay Pride!!!

Stop!!!!!!...............whats going on here? Am I really being booted out of a ghetto I never asked to be boxed in, then paraded up and down the street in ridiculous costumes in front of those who already considered gay life a freak show. Only to be told I must pay £20 to get back into the Village to be tormented by Hazel Dean and pay twice as much for a drink? Of course its all in the name of charity.....so that makes it OK even if they don't raise enough to buy a single average price house!!!!

Is this what it means to be Gay? Is this what I should be proud of?
Be gay. Be straight. Be ugly. Be divine. Be anything you want and never what they tell you. Just be!
