August bank holiday weekend is already a major date in the UK’s event calendar, with people throughout the land being sent into a frenzy over their choice of where to spend it, what is to many, one of the year’s most exciting weekends. EASTERN ELECTRICS is set to make that choice simple, as a truly unique weekend of compelling, end-of-summer entertainment in the Big Smoke of East London.

Eastern Electrics will be taking place over two-days in the heart of Shoreditch it will showcase the East Ends most cutting-edge DJ’s, Live Acts and most forward-thinking Promoters on the circuit within an exclusive indoor / outdoor space in central Shoreditch.

The Eastern Electrics Festival will unite DJ’s and Bands over the bank holiday weekend, Saturday will see the daytime programmed by Tom Baker from Eat Your Own Ears, while the evening will see Trailer Trash hosting one of the indoor arenas and Neon Noise Project hosting the other. Sunday daytime will be hosted by mulletover with Disco Bloodbath and Resident Advisor taking care of the evenings events

THE FACTS:
• An exclusive indoor / outdoor space in central Shoreditch
• Large outdoor stage – suitable for both Live PA’s and DJ’s
• Two indoor stages
• Chill-Out / Cinema Tent
• Deckchair Lounge Area
• 4 Large Bars
• 4 Concession stands – selling world food / cigarettes / other merchandise

Further entertainers and street artists will provide alternative attractions away from the music. As well as cutting edge VJ’s providing visual entertainment throughout the night. The two days will offer some of the best contemporary artists in their fields, featuring acts who straddle genres and are creating the new soundscapes. With an eclectic and inspirational programme of bands and djs.

Although the line-up is yet to be announced, we can assure you that we are not taking any prisoners on our first year. Eastern Electrics will take place over Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th of the August Bank Holiday and is an essential event for anyone who is proud to be at the forefront of the London music scene.
