Continuing in style, Chew The Fat rolls into February building on its reputation for the very latest sounds across the board, with some outstanding up-and-coming talent…

DUKE DUMONT – One of the most exciting new producers to emerge from the UK in 2007, Duke has set the world alight with his EPs for Tiga’s Turbo label and tracks such as the awesome ‘Lean and Bounce’. With remixes for Missy Elliott already under his belt and forthcoming releases for Dave ‘Switch’ Taylor’s Dubsided imprint in the pipeline, there’s a lot more to come from this immense new talent.

DOPAMINE – Quite possibly Australia’s most successful dance music export, Dopamine has made waves in both the breakbeat and electro house scenes. His debut single ‘Hold You’ won single of the year at Breakspoll 2006, and his latest remixes for the likes of Vacation records have seen him sitting at the top of the electro-house charts. Mixing up genres like a sonic stir-fry, his DJ sets have rocked Chew The Fat many a time in the past. Don’t miss!

MILES DYSON – The techno producer every breaks DJ loves, Miles Dyson has become a name to watch over the past six months, turning in awesome remixes of 30Hz, Jude Sebastian and Signal Drivers, as well as collaborations with Blende on his own Plasmapool label. Making a rare London appearance tonight before starting his first tour of Australia, this is one German whose tracks never fail to move dancefloors. Get ready for some serious tech treats.

CANINESOUNDS – Making their name via their much-respected show on Brighton’s Passion FM, Caninesounds have recently signed up to Spinout Records, remixing Lutzenkirchen’s ‘Back In Time’. Some of the capital’s finest DJs, they are regulars at nights such as Z-Shed as well as rocking Fat’s NYE party and the Red Box at Space in Ibiza. Making their End debut tonight.

Not forgetting resident Kid Blue in support, on top form right now, playing his usual mix of breaks, house and funky techno.

ISSST Being names as ‘the modern kings of acid house’ by The Guardian is no mean feat. Returning to the lounge for the second time, residents Kevin Griffiths and Bobby M are joined this month by Leftroom head honcho Matt Tolfrey. Nice!
