The Label Boss/A&R Head/DJ Ben Watt has garnered an international following with hit releases such as Darkmountaingroup’s “Lose Control,” Ame’s remix of Rodamaal’s “Insomnia” and Jimpsters’s ‘Square Up’. He brings together everything from dubby tech house (the Green Men) to electronic pop (Mlle Caro and Franck Garcia) mixed seamlessly in key with his sultry, signature style.

Watt broke out in the early eighties when he and vocalist Tracey Thorn wrote and recorded studio albums together as Everything but the Girl. They racked up several Top 10 UK Singles and an international hit on the Billboard Top 100 for “Missing,” which reached number 2 in 1995.

Having orchestrated London’s deep house Sunday party and compilation series “Lazy Dog,” Watt became a champion on the club scene circuit. He launched Buzzin’ Fly Records in 2003, which has since won Best Breakthrough Label and Label of the Year (House Music Awards’) as well as Best British Label (DJ Magazine, 2007). He has toured extensively on the festival circuit (Coachella, Ibiza, Lovebox Weekender, Electric Picnic, Good Vibrations).
