On Saturday the 22nd of September we are celebrating our first birthday at the Mustard Lounge in Norwich. Not only do we have our excellent residents but we have international super star DJ Noir flying over from Denmark to provide us all the best in dirty house music.
Noir is prolific producer having signed tracks to the like of Toolroom Records, Wyze Recordings, DTPM, House Session, Onephatdeepa, Compulsive Music, Juicy Music, Gossip Records, Data Records, Seamless Records, Lickin’ Records, R & G Electronics, Delecto, Deeplay Soultec, Soulmagic Recordings, Oxyd Records, Ego Music, Purefunk, Southern Fried Records, Disco:wax and Warner, just to name a few. Noir’s own label Noir Music has also brought a great number of international talent into the lime light and his big plans for 2007.
Downstairs we also have a dedicated breakbeat room with local breaks hero’s Crackers & Jam having been tipped as “going to be big” by DJ Mag as well as rave reviews for their mixes in IDJ these lads are ultra hot property at the moment. Support in the form of a special breaks set from Unique Music head honcho Jack Barham as well as Norwich talent Tom Wilkes and female breaks sensation Queen B.
As always expect ultra friendly house party style atmosphere, good sound system, upgraded visuals and friendly staff.
