| Tune ID. plz have a look at this. Been trying to ID the tune for a year and a half now. Here is some info on where I heard the track.
Basement Jaxx guest set for Annie On One done in the Fall of 2000. Its 90 mins long. Find the set if you can.
Then listen:
Somewhere in the first 30 mins there is a male vocal house track with a sick bassline--it'd work fine in a garage set.
Vocal: "you got what you wan't, but you really do care...what you need" "feeling(?), you got to have it, feeling you got to have it". Then Simon Ratcliffe says "we've just been join by Armand Van Helden" on the mic. I think AVH also dropped some records. If you ever get a hold of that mix here is the tracklisting.
part 1
1. Jaxx - Bingo Bango
2. Paul Johnson - Get Get Down (remix)
3. DJ Spen - Craze After Midnight
4. ?? (male vocals, soul)
5. ?? (sax)
6. ?? (female vocals)
7. ?? (THAT bass track)
8. ?? (female vocals, Don't You Want Some More?)
9. Ronnie Richards - Jammin (Soca Houz dub)
10. Ronnie Richards - Jammin
11. ?? (James Brown samples)
12. Jaxx - Miracles
13. ?? (female vocals)
14. Jaxx - My Name is Start
Track 7 is the one i'm after. |

Soca Houz Dub is the winner.
The last Jaxx single from the Rooty Lp will be released next Monday (the 26th). "Do Your Thing" with remixes from the Jaxx and Tim Deluxe on 2x12" only.

| Sometimes I doubt they'll ever release it. They've played it for a long time in their DJ sets and live performances. |

| I received an email from webmaster of the Jaxx site. He's out in the UK right now and says the Jaxx played a new version of Club Is Jumpin. This could mean a release in the next 6-8 months. |
