*SCOTT ATTRILL AKA VINYLGROOVER*

*BASS JUNKIE EP 1*

SCOTT ATTRILL AKA VINYLGROOVER ‘FEEL ALIVE’
So the wait for Scott’s artist album ‘Bass Junkie’ is almost over as the first sampler is unleashed upon us, & if this release is to set the standard on what’s to follow then we are in for an absolute treat! ‘Feel Alive’ is a top quality tune that has a massive male vocal, written by Scott & performed by Daniel James. The breakdown is as uplifting & euphoric as it gets with lush synth pads & great chord structure. The vocal is layered over the top & really comes into its own. The drums are what we have come to expect from Scott’s sound, techy & dirty with a nice bit of added shuffle with that unmistakable deep tech bass warble – simply a massive, massive record!

SCOTT ATTRILL AKA VINYLGROOVER ‘BASS JUNKIE’ Next up comes album title track ‘Bass Junkie’ which to sum up in one sentence – ‘Twisted electric tech madness’. This is really pushing it a bit & with support coming from all genres you can really see why. This is futuristic sounding dance that has funk & groove in abundance, the bassline changes throughout the track from bouncy & funky switching to on beat with cutting & sliding notes thrown in for good measure. There are some well placed quirky old school stabs throughout & the breakdown is ‘Rave’ all the way with a real updated vibe. – One of the best tracks from the album!

VINYLGROOVER & THE RED HED‘THE FLASHBACK’
This track from Scott & James has been around for a while but has only been available to a select chosen few. The Flashback is uplifting tech Trance & really packs a punch! The rolling drums & bassline set the tone but then strip back to provide a bending synthline that is sure to send your dancefloors into a frenzy. There are some nice little piano fills that break it up & a huge Trance riff that grabs you from the breakdown to take it to a completely different level. Peak time dance fodder & a release that is quite simply ‘ESSENTIAL’

‘All tracks have had BBC Radio 1 support’
