The joy of Christmas is nearly upon, which means that the madness of New Year can’t be far away either. With that thought in mind, there’s only one place to be come New Year’s Day night and that’s Koko, the renowned Camden venue – scene of Get Loaded’s festival warm up party earlier this summer. Since that infamous night, everyone from Madonna to Coldplay have performed in front of sell-out crowds down there and the Get Loaded cartel look set to follow suit, as advanced tickets for this special Acid House party are already selling by the bucket load!

With so many clubs ripping you off on NYE with over inflated door taxes and under achieving line-ups… tickets for Get Loaded NYD will only set you back £12 - which is certainly better than a kick in the ol’ Niagara Falls! The action first kicks off down the road at top watering hole, the Lock Tavern, where the “Go Go Get Loaded Tag Team” will be taking care of deck duties alongside the Adventures in the Beetroot Field residents and special DJ guest casualties from other parties around town. Back at Koko 8 pints later, the action will be in full swing as the original acid house pioneers X-Press 2 get fully involved on 6 Decks, 3 Mixers for a filth-ridden ride into the unknown!! Elsewhere, the Junior Boys Own Soundsystem make a guest turn featuring the legendary Heller & Farley and fellow Faith head Stuart Patterson. Meanwhile up in the Koko Lounge, London’s newest underground recruits – Deepdownanddirty bring their sleazy electro soundtrack to the floor with the hotly-tipped Electric Press (20:20 Vision) in full affect, alongside DDD residents Simon Morell & Ryan Shaw, plus guest Pete Herbert (Reverso).

Pre-Club Booze-athon…
Why wait till 10pm to get the party started as the evening’s entertainment kicks off at 6pm down the road at top boozer the Lock Tavern. The Get Loaded posse will be sinking a few pre-club jars and jamming to some pre-party sounds courtesy of cult Camdenites the Adventures in the Beetroot Field Residents & very Special Guests… so arrive early to revel in the full madness.
