Unique Registered User Join Date: Sep 2002 Posts: 6	Hi i am new and need guidance easy i am new to here and am just starting to get into Funky House i have been a garage head for a number of years but it is just not floating my boat race any more....!!! If i was to go into a record shop tommorra ...what would be the main labels, producers, artists i should look out for that push out good funky US Garage/House.... Cheers

deejayloveit 303 Collective / Gravis Join Date: Nov 2001 Posts: 1,282	do you want stuff that has a disco-ish sound to it? or just funk? we've went on and on and on around here defining funky house.....people have different ideas on what it is, and none of those ideas are necessarily wrong. my initial suggestions for some funky house would be these: Conga Squad Paul Johnson Basement Jaxx Studio 45 Robbie Rivera Richard F Olav Baskoski stuff on these labels is usually worth checking out Riviera Fresh Fruit Work if this isn't your flavor of funk....let's narrow it down some, we'll find what you like.
