easy i am new to here and am just starting to get into Funky House

i have been a garage head for a number of years but it is just not floating my boat race any more....!!!

If i was to go into a record shop tommorra ...what would be the main labels, producers, artists i should look out for that push out good funky US Garage/House....

do you want stuff that has a disco-ish sound to it? or just funk? we've went on and on and on around here defining funky house.....people have different ideas on what it is, and none of those ideas are necessarily wrong.

my initial suggestions for some funky house would be these:
