Halo present another
bank holiday special on Sunday the
24th of August at the
light Bar, Shoreditch. This party features two very different rooms of electronic music and represents a new and exciting direction for the Halo brand.
Following our hugely successful event at the venue last bank holiday which featured
Diynamic Music’s man of the moment
Stimming, we knew we had to raise the bar for this one, once again.
Continuing in the tradition of booking the foremost underground artists we’re pleased to announce our next event features
Smash TV (live). Smash TV, one of the first artists on
Allen Aliens distinguished imprint
BPitch Control is a prolific producer and DJ both under the Smash TV name and his real name Holger Zilske. Between his aliases he has released music on some of the hottest labels around including
Playhouse, BPitch Control and
mobilee sub label
Leena making him a very exciting headline booking. Joining Smash TV we also have
back2fronts Tom Craven plus Halo residents
Tom Roberts Johnny Blanco, Ash Wild, Aaron I am & Dan Styles. The music policy in this room is
house & techno.
The line up in
Room 2 sees a special showcase from
Toshiki Ohta, Simon Barr & Chris Hartnett playing an eclectic backroom mix of
new disco, electronica and
leftfield beats for a discerning crowd. This “muso” haven compliments the main room perfectly with its production led vibe and promises to make its mark on east London just as much as the main room.
Other exciting features include a
state of the art sound system which we will be putting into the venue to ensure optimum audio quality on the night as well as an eye catching
chill out zone with
bespoke furniture and various
alfresco production features also entering the events design. We will be offering a
BBQ early in the afternoon to help ease into the party &
free Halo CDs will also be on offer to the first 50 people through the door, so make sure you get down early.
