Ready for some real Electro Tech served up Chicago style?
FFM
Lindsay Frkovich: Vocals, guitar, synth keys
Adam Nelson: Synth drums (What else?)
Michaela White: Bass, vocals, synth keys
It took several years a few hundred shades of eyeliner for FFM to pout its way into their current state of electro bliss. Accented by a love for parka hoods, bicycle helmets and loads of red lipstick, the three-piece, live electro house outfit delivers the kind of sharp sound that cuts glass on the floor. In 2007, the band formerly known as Sombionx retooled its production game, assuming a dirtier moniker to match its grittier, electro-based sound.
Helmed by musician/producer Adam Nelson (aka producer Sombionx), FFM’s point-and-shoot tracks have the feel of a West Coast rock repertoire, boasting equal parts irreverence and shine. Bassist and synth-key stylist Michaela White melds her classically-trained musical upbringing with the same raw, electro moxie that earned her Chicago fame as a DJ and producer. Front woman Lindsay Frkovich lends her guitar work and sassily stilted vocals to square off a geometric sound that hits as sharply as her platform heels.

FFM emerges to put a shinier spin on the grit-and-bones of the electro house of scene. Releases on their own Q Studios label include cheeky stunners, such as “I Like House Music,”
