When Audio Farm initially staked its claim, we ploughed, planted and cultivated our clubland into a cornucopia of some of the greatest living House and Techno legends, as well as handpicking the finest local talent the great City of Manchester has to offer. Over the years we have watched it grow into one of the most unique parties around. Our original décor and props, street performers, rabbit tunnels, horse stable cinema, face ...painters, Oxfam fancy dress stall and vegetable giveaways to have melted even the most cynical of hearts into a state of childlike glee.

In 2010, we have seen the farm folk raise their hands in elation to the likes of Derrick Carter, Kevin Saunderson, Tom Middleton Peter Heller and Jamie Anderson who have all set the farmyard alight. 2010 was also a year of change as we left our first home of ‘Moho Live’ to nomadically wander Manchester's venues taking in Sound Control and breaking records with our Halloween ‘Farmival’. We also transformed the Fallowfield favourite ‘The Ram & Shackle’ into a full throbbing club that pulsated all night into the new year of 2011.

2011 sees our nomadic life continue, which kicks off by celebrating our annual womb exit with our Audio Farm "Offensive Taste" Birthday, as we once again flock to the awesome venue that is ‘The Deaf Institute’. Let your imaginations run wild and come up with the most offensive costumes you can think of. But please, nothing sick like a Nick Clegg costume.

The music will be the only thing that isn't offensive. The main room sees your faithful farmers (Ad Pan, Ant, Taylaa, M.P.H & Hollowood) beat out the best in House and Techno. Whilst the middle floor plays host to Mr Paul (Chibuku), Nathan Meltmusic and Cy Tukay (Jupiter Rooms) who will in turn be playing eclectic styles from disco to forgotten anthems.

The basement maybe the most exciting of all for you up and coming Djs out there, as we give the decks over to you. It's open decks and for your chance to be part of it and perform a mini set you can contact: info@audiofarm.co.uk for a guaranteed set, or put your name down on the night on a first come first serve basis. But please, no fidget, pop or cheese, except really good cheese (we like a laugh as much as anybody else, but we'd rather laugh with you than at you).

As a birthday gesture, the first 75 of you ‘worm catchers’ who arrive on the night will be rewarded with some farm inspired freebies.
