Proud to announce that the first single for Artizan Music is now up on
Kicking things off in his trademark, lushly aesoteric fashion, is our good
friend Rithma. Mixes are from Musique Boutique's man on the money John
Larner and Artizan Music co-director and production/dj partner in crime with
Jafar - Andy Touchfingers. Anyone who bought Andy's 'Touch of Jazz' e.p on
Kwaito Recordings (a former IDJ single of the month) will know what to
expect. Quality interpretations from both remixers.
Hope you like it!!

Here's what Our House Magazine had to say about it:
The Pepper Tree
* * * * *
Full marks to this debut release from a brand new label straight outa
London, run by Jafar and Andy Touchfingers and who better to kick off
proceedings than one of the West Coastís finest Rithma from Om Records fame.
The Pepper Tree is a definite deep houser of large portions and is likely to
find a home in many a jockís bag from Tinsletown to Timbuktu, this is house
for grown ups who know what time it is. Itís the sought of cut you could
hear on Salinas beach or a sweaty basement, warm swirling tripped out
goodness. The ever reliable John Larner has a stab behind the desk too
taking it in the more Windy City direction, more trackier, punchy and a real
wobbly acid feel which is bound to get plays from the likes of Farina,
Heather and Carter, leaving last but no means least co owner Andy
Touchfingers himself to round things off with some quality and thoughtful
drum programming and adding some well placed keys and generally polishing up
where needed. Obscene!
