ANDY WHITBY ANNOUNCES EXCLUSIVE ITUNES ONLY DOWNLOAD DJ MIX FOR NUKLEUZ


Andy Whitby had a year to remember in 2005. The 23 year old DJ and producer found himself at the forefront of the hard house revolution, playing to packed venues from London to Australia, and rocking sell-out crowds with his unique mixing abilities, attention to detail, and his desire to inject a little fun back onto the dancefloor. He was met with high praise from the UK’s self-appointed taste-makers, with media including Mixmag, DJ mag, Galaxy, The Times, Time Out, and more, heralding him as a “Future Hero”, and “the saviour of hard house”.


Despite a heavy gig schedule, he also found the time to mix 3 compilations, the most recent, Frantic Euphoria, has just ‘gone Silver’ and recently won Best Compilation at the Hard Dance Awards – a huge accomplishment for any DJ, let alone one in the early days of a burgeoning career. The other compilations, Frantic Residents 05, and Hard Trance Bootlegs, brought him further recognition, making Andy’s face a new and permanent addition to the dance music landscape.

But Whitby can never be accused of resting on his laurels, as well as setting up his new label, AWsum, he remains firmly focused on the future. With that in mind he’s just announced an exclusive iTunes only download DJ mix for NUKLEUZ, making him the first hard dance DJ to do so. Set to go live on 25th February, the day of Frantic’s much-anticipated HHA event at Brixton Academy, clubbers will be able to download the Hard House Academy Classics mix (featuring the brand new remake of Cappella 'U Got 2 Let The Music' (Technikal Remix), as well as bangers like Stu Allan's 'A Feeling', and the rest of the individual tracks straight from iTunes.
