On
Friday September 5th, Nuestra Casa is back again to bring you another huge dose of the summery house music.
After last month’s instalment, we're very grateful to have been invited back to the über-fashionable
Anam bar in Angel/Islington. Set over two floors, this recently renovated 'retro-stylish' venue boasts one of the
best c0cktail menus in London, a sophisticated but friendly clientele, and a brand new
'Turbosound’ sound system in the downstairs club.
This month we welcome three very special guest DJs. First up its
Steve Marx from the
Loop Music Mix Show. He has taken his mix of "tough but intricate house alongside up-for-it-breaks" to some of the best venues in London, and broadcasts regular mixes for Loop Music's awesome monthly podcasts. He has been well known on the club scene for some 16 years and has a selection of tunes most DJs dream about so we cant wait for him to unleash mayhem on the dancefloor.
We also welcome back Nuestra Casa founder
Marcus Robson who has been living it up in New York for the past 6 months and is back for one night only. Nuestra hasn't quite been the same while he's been away from Blightly so it will be great to see Marcus back on the ones and twos.
Last but by no means least we welcome back
Gallery resident and all round top bloke
Dave Horne. Dave has been DJing for over ten years, and has wooed the crowds at some of London's top venues including
Fabric, Turnmills and Ministry of Sound. After his excellent set for us back in November we are really excited to have him back for another one of his trademark intelligent sets.
They will be joining the usual suspects - our irrepresable
Nuestra Casa resident DJs.
