I am a student at Napier University and I am currently doing my 4th year honours project.

The project is reaseraching online tuition methods and will feature myself creating a prototype of a web site which will give users the chance to learn a variety of diiferent instruments by accessing the sites collection of tabs and music books.

The site will also offer the chance to have one to one tution over a web style chat with there tutor. This is a subject which has had very little research in to it so it will be a very exciting prospect to be able to learn an instrument over the web with an instructor from the comfort of your own home.

I would like anyone to come up with some suggestions or comments that they would expect to find from a site like this such as will it cater for different skill levels, number of instruments & teachers available etc.

Any suggestions are welcome as this site is to be developed with the thoughts and ideas of music students, budding musicians and anyone with an interest in new technoligies.
