    A variety of things.

    Some MC's have heavy lyrics.
    while other MC's have weaker lyrics but a better flow or delivary

    i.e. Shabba D. His lyrics aint the greatest but his flow and delivary kills it!!!

    Either have meaningful lyrics or have a bouncy flow that people can get there grove on to.

    also put effort into what there doing

    so many times ive been dissapionted with big names who are quality mc's cause there lazy.

    not chatting over mixing (unless the mix is going severly wrong)

    Man.... i was just thinkin that! Some MC's just dont know when to do that, but when they do its great Sometimes you just wanna hear the track, cause it ROCKS! and the MC wont shut up!
