No - If I can't get insurance to let me legally drink in a pub, why should they be allowed in to DJ in one?

Plenty of Over 18 DJs that can serve that purpose...let under 18s deal with the under 18s if you ask me.

If they're good enough to play an adult venue, they should have the opportunity.

i agree with JO, if they are under 18 they should really stick to under 18 events.

Under 18's are allowed to perform at over 18 events.

As long as they are performing.

Whoever told you otherwise was fobbing you off.

Well if they're good enough, and not a gimmick, then possibly.

However, do 14 year olds really need to be exposed to clubs at such a young age? I don't necessarily think its a good idea that kids seem to be growing up faster these days, they all seem to lose their innocence and want to go round acting seriously these days, when ur youth is meant to be the most carefree period of ur life.

There will be plenty of opportunity for these young dj's when they are older ... these clubs arent going to go away ... shouldn't they be doing what any other 14 year olds should do?

You're right Sharki - kids should be kids but when they are brought up surrounded by B-LINES and Jamo's they end up 'music heads' like their parents!!!
If my son wasn't a DJ, he would probably be getting into 'all sorts' jus like most kids on council estates these days?
He teaches in school & helps kids to find other interests rather than 'smashing windows' u-get-me..
Big up Dj Terror 4 all he does, not 4gettin you too.
    Nice1 - KEEP 'EM COMING

Yep, thats true... I done my first over 18s event when I was 15 (and the promoter knew it). As long as you're there to perform your age is irrelevant. Also, if you can pass for over 18... just lie .
