The 'Throwdown' returns once again... this time with a 'Booty Bass Special' - last months 'Body popping/B-Boy' contest attracted contestants from all over the UK and a couple even came all the way from France.
This time round former Scratch Pervert - Mr Thing will be ripping it up alongside UK Bass criminal mastermind Cutlass Supreme who will be going head-to-head with the original 'body popper' DJ Deekline, with support from the likes of Donna Dee and Blowfelt aka Scrappy, this is an event not to be missed!!!

Information on Hi-5 promotions

Hi-5 promotions was formed back in 2003

The cru consists of B.Boy/graffer/designer WAND, female scratch dj /producer DONNA DEE AKA PIXIE, Electro/miami bass producer DJ DEEKLINE, ex flex 103.6 fm ower PuRe SeX, Dancer JAY STYLES and Buddhist Rapper MC E.

These guys got together by accident when they realised they were the only 5 dudes on the hip hop/breaks circuit that still did the traditional Hi 5 hand slap/greeting. Now they are real happy because they have formed a cru and run wicked B.boy battles and get to Hi 5 each other all the time ("now that's what I call hiphopman"-Jay Styles).

They did their first party last year in Dec and got off to a real good start. They have big plans for 2004 including a monthly Thursday night Throwdown which will feature a variety of competitions including Popping, Scratchin, Graff, Open mic as well as your traditional B.Boy comp with some bigger events in the summer.

Their current sponsors include East Pak, Virus Skateboards, THTC, Rat Records & Breakbeat Connection.

They are all individual talents that know how to pull off a party.
