Yeah, that is gay. The views thing is good because you can see how many people have read a message with the subject FAO : Dave or whatever, plus you can sort of tell whether or not to leave the forum, if you've have some views, theres usually a reply on the way. Gay.

If it takes up too much server space, get rid of the funking avator's or don't let em be hosted on your server.

its not server space that is the problem, we are with the fastest server available in england, basically these forums run on an SQL database and the database was getting overloaded when alot of people were hitting the site.... the views facility was locking the database every time somone looked at a topic which made the database crash, i got a call yesterday from our hosts and they werent happy with us because we are getting too many hits for the type of hosting we have... we could upgrade yet again, but its ALOT of money this time and only company's like microsoft etc.. use that facility, i took it out last night for the time being to see how things go, you will probably see an increase in speed and alot more people using the forums...

also, i can add the whos online back at the top if you want, i just thought it took up alot of space when alot of people were online and you have it on the front page at the bottom anyway
