    Pirate Radio...

What do the DJ's and MC's think of pirate radio nowadays?

Do you think that it is now more based on getting your subs and running with the money, rather than back in the days when it was perhaps more about the music? Do you think there are way too many pirates fighting for the airwaves? What do you think the future of pirate radio will be? Digital? Internet stations? Another Kiss?

Do you think playing on pirate radio gives you the same props as it did in, say '96 / '97?

I think pirates have gone downhill.

DJing on a pirate radio a couple of years ago used to give you a buzz...not every old tom $$$$ and harry was doing it.

I agree that pirates are more about subs and building a business to make profit

quote from the manager of my station this very weekend just gone...

" the stations building up nicely - good too...cos I dont want to be working a 9 - 5 during the summer. "

    money is the game.

Yeah, an owner of a station I used to know would always complain about how he was doing all the hard work, when in the mean time he was earning enough to stop working and get a nice motor...it's a lucritive business nowadays.

Too many two bob DJs and MCs about on pirates.

Too many bandits who love the sound of their own voice when hosting shows.

    Too many stations.
