have to admit that some classical composers have made some incredibly relaxing stuff, but i dont think any of it beats 'All I Need' by Air

Some classics are music from Enya, Air Supply, Barry Manilow, Toto. Classic rock also soothes my mind.

I'm classically trained so love classical music - all the Romantics in particular, with Rachmaninoff at the top of my list. I have other favourites - Vaughn Williams Lark Ascending (violin and orchestra) is one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever, and I never tire of hearing it. It makes me cry, being both meloncholic and uplifting, especially as it ends.

I also pretty much enjoy all other kinds of music, past and current. There are some really good singers and musicians around today, and the variety is infinite. I like the radio stations Heart, Magic, Jazz FM, Kiss and so on, and particularly like anything I can dance to.

I couldn't live without music - it's so much a part of life and I don't really understand people who dismiss any part of it that doesn't appeal to them. It's all music, so what's the problem!

Enuff now, I'm waffling - sorry

i once found (and lost grmbl) a cd with whale voices...THAT was deeply relaxing...it's probably not music in its common sense but it was fabulous...
but rain can also be very relaxing... *sighs*
i have to refind this cd, just going mad about the
    electronic diversity visa lottery!

Air - All I Need for me too. It's going to be a popular choice.
